Eligible applicant must:
a. Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
b. Be of good character.
c. Be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 25 years for Non – Tradesmen and not more than 27 years for Tradesmen by 1 September 2022.

e.Signals Corps.
(1)        Operation Group.        In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics. Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage.
(2)        Radio Technician.        In addition to the General Eligibility applicant must have Mathematics, Physics, Elective Mathematics and any of the following:
(a)        City and Guilds Certificate in Electronics.
(b)        City and Guilds Certificate in Telecommunications.
(3)        Line Technician.        In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
(a)        Certificate in Fibre Optics Technology.
(b)        Certificate in RF Engineering.
(c)        Certificate in Satellite Communications.

f. Directorate of Information Technology(DIT). In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
(1)        Network Administration.     N+ Certificate from a recognised Institution including knowledge in LINUX/Windows Server 2003, 2008 and above.
(2)        Database Administration.     Certification in My SQL, SQL, and Oracle from a recognised Institution.
(3)        Computer Programming.     Certification in VB, C++ and Java from a recognised Institution.
(4)        Web Designing.         Certification in HTML, PHP, CSS, CMS, Adobe and Photoshop from a recognised Institution.

g. Supply and Transport Corps. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
(1)        Drivers. Professional Driving Licence Class B.
(2)        Supply Clerks/Storeman. Certificate in computer software applications (Word, Excel, Access, Corel Drawing etc) from a recognised Institution.
(3)        Movement.     Diploma/Certificate in Freight Forwarding/Air Travel and Tour from a recognised Institution.
(4)        Fireman/Woman.      Certificate in Fire Fighting from National Fire Service plus professional Driving Licence class B.
(5)        Cooks.            In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have the following qualification from a recognised Institution.
(a)        HND in Catering.
(b)        Diploma in Catering.
(c)        NVTI Grade I & II.

h. Public Relations Corps. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:
(1)        Information Assistants.         Diploma/Certificate (not less than one year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in Journalism, Public Relations, English Language /Literature, Broadcasting, Communication Studies or Photo journalism.
(2)        Photographers.  Diploma/Certificate (not less than one year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in general photography.
(3)        Cinematographer.      Diploma/Certificate (not less than one year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in Fine Art, Film Editing, Camera Work, Lighting, Film Directing, Sound, Graphic Design or Animation.

i. Ordnance Corps.
(1)        Storeman/Woman. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE and Diploma in Business Studies and HND in Purchasing and Supply.
(2)        Ammunition Technicians. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE including science subjects.
(3)        Tailors.           In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:
(a) GES Intermediate Certificate.
(b) COVET Certificate II.

j. Clerk General Duties. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE including Credit in English and Mathematics and any of the following.
(1)        RSA Stage III in secretarial duties and credit in typing.
(2)        Typist Grade I and II Certificate from Government Secretarial School.
(3)        Stenographer Grade II Certificate.
(4)        DBS (Secretarial Option).
(5)        Certificate in computer software applications (Word, Excel, Access, Corel Drawing etc) from a recognised Institution.

k. Education Corps. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the    following.

Teachers Post-Secondary Certificate A.
Teachers Post-Secondary Certificate A (French).
Diploma in Education.
Diploma in Education (French)

Band Candidates (Army/Navy/Air Force)
a. Applicants must have 2 credits and 4 Passes at WASSCE.
b. Must not be more than 27 years for Regimental Band and not more than 28 years for Dance band respectively.
c. Must have the following;
(1)        Ability to sight-read musical notes.
(2)        Ability to play Woodwind or Brass instruments.
(3)        Proficiency in Basic Music (ABRSM) Theory Grade 4 will be an added advantage.

ARMYInfantry/Armour/Artillery. In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a first Degree from a recognized University.Signal Corps.    In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a first Degree from a recognized University in any of the following:(1)       Telecommunication Engineering.(2)       Computer Engineering.(3)       Physics.Engineer Corps   In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a first Degree from a recognized University in any of the following:(1)       Civil Engineering (Structural or Water/Sanitation Engineer).(2)       Electrical Engineering.(3)       Mechanical Engineer with Building Service Capability.

(5)       Preference will be given to applicants with additional certificates in tele, mobile, satellite and wireless communication.
Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (EME Corps).   In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree from a recognized University/Institution in any of the following:
(1)       Physics.
(2)       Mechanical Engineering.
(3)       Chemical Engineering.
(4)       Electrical Engineering.
(5)       Electronics Engineering.
(6)       Materiel Engineering.
(7)       Bio-Medical Engineering Technology.

Military Police.      In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree from a recognized University/Institution in any of the following:
(1)       Social Sciences – (History, Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Economics).

(3)       Arts.

(5)       ICA (GH) Part II or Higher.
Information Technology.   In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree from a recognized University/Institution in any of the following:
(1)       Computer Science.
(2)       Computer Engineering.
(3)       Information Technology.
(4)       Computer Security.
(5)       Network Engineering.
(6)       Preference would be given to applicants with in-depth knowledge in Website Designing (CMS’s, PHP, HTML, CSS), SQL and My SQL, CCNA, ORACLE, LINUX, VISUAL BASIC, Network Administration, Ethical Hacking or Computer Forensic.
Education Corps.  In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree from a recognized University/Institution in any of the following:
(1)       Humanities (Arts & Social Sciences).
(2)       Pure Science.
(3)       Education.
(4)       English/French.
Public Relations. In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BFA, BSc, etc.) in any of the following from a recognized University/Institution, plus one (1) year working experience:
(1)       Film Sound Production.
(2)       Film Directing.
(3)       Television Production.
(4)       Broadcast Journalism.
Physical Training (PT) and Sports.  In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree from a recognized University/Institution in any of the following:
(1)       Physical Education.
(2)       Health/Physical Education and Recreation.
Band.
In addition to the general eligibility applicants must have a first Degree in Music from a recognized University. Knowledge in the following is an advantage:
(1)       Staff – Reading.
(2)       Conducting.
(3)       Orchestrating.
(4)       Brass and Wind Instruments.
NAVY
Technical Branch. In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree in any of the following from a recognized University/Institution:
(1) Marine Engineering.
(2) Mechanical Engineering.
(3) Electrical Engineering.
(4) Marine Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Supply and Secretarial Branch. In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree in any of the following from a recognized University or equivalent Professional Institution in any of the following:
(1)       Administration (HR/Accounting/Marketing/Banking & Fin).
(2)       Commerce.
(3)       Port and Shipment Administration.
(4)       Management Studies.
(5)       Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
(6)       Economics.
(7)       Preference will be given to applicants with the additional certificates in the following;
(a)       Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administration (ICSA) – Final Part.
(b)       Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) – Level 5.
(c)       Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) – Final Part.

SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (ARMY/AIR FORCE CANDIDATES ONLY) ENGINEER CORPS. Architecture. In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree from a recognized University/Institution in Architecture (Registered member of Ghana Institute of Architects and must not be more than thirty-five (35) years of age by 17 May 2022.MEDICAL (ARMY Candidates Only). In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a Degree in any of the following from a recognized University or equivalent Professional Institution in any of the following:

Clinical Specialist. In addition to the general eligibility, applicant must have MB ChB/BDS or its equivalent from an accredited institution plus a relevant post-graduate qualification to the level of Membership/Fellowship (GCPS/WACS/WACP or its equivalent from an accredited College. Must have permanent registration with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council and not more than 40 years of age by 17 May 2022.
Medical officer & Dental Surgeon. In addition to the general eligibility, applicant must have MB ChB/BDS or its equivalent from an accredited institution. Must have permanent registration with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council. At least one (1) year working experience after housemanship in a recognized health facility and not more than 35 years of age by 17 May 2022.
General Nurse.In addition to the general eligibility, applicant must have BSc/BA degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and must have completed the mandatory clinical rotation or national service. At least two (2) years working experience is required. Must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana and not more than 33 years of age by 17 May 2022.
Midwifery Officer.In addition to the general eligibility, applicant must have BSc degree in Midwifery from an accredited institution. Must have completed the mandatory clinical rotation. At least two (2) years working experience is required and not more than 33 years of age by 17 May 2022. Must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana.
Physician Assistant (Medical). Applicant must have BSc degree in Physician Assistantship or its equivalent from an accredited institution with at least two (2) years working experience after housemanship in an accredited health facility. Must have permanent registration with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council and not more than 33 years of age by 17 May 2022.
Audiologist. Applicant must have an MSc degree in Audiology or its equivalent. At least one (1) year working experience as an audiologist. Must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council and not more than 33 years of age by 17 May 2022.
Specialized Nurses. In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must be a Registered General Nurse and have Certificate in any of the following specialties: Critical Care, ENT, Peri-operative, Emergency Care, Plastic & Burns and Pediatrics Nursing. At least two (2) years working experience in a recognized health facility is required. Must have registered with the Nurses and Midwives council of Ghana and not more than 33 years of age by 17 May 2022. A degree in any of the related fields is an advantage.
Nursing Tutor. In addition to the general eligibility, applicant must have MPhil in Nursing/Midwifery or MSc/MA in Nursing/Midwifery with postgraduate certificate in Education. Must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana. At least one (1) year teaching experience in an accredited Nursing/Midwifery institution is required and not more than 35 years of age by 17 May 2022.

Chaplains (ARMY/AIRFORCE Candidates Only). In addition to the general eligibility applicants must have any of the following:

Must have been ordained as a minister of the Roman Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian, Evangelical Presbyterian, SDA and the Church of Pentecost.
He/she must have a minimum of 4 years pastoral working experience including probation/internship period.
Applicant must have GCE ‘O’ Level/SHS/WASSCE with aggregate 24 or better in 6 subject including English and Mathematics or GCE ‘A’ Level passes in 3 subjects.
He/she must not be more than forth (40) years of age before commission.
Must be a holder of Degree (in Theology or Religion ie BA)
He/she must be recommended by Head of Church who must be prepared to release him to the Ghana Armed Forces.
He/she must have the ability to speak English fluently and at least one of the main vernaculars of Ghana.

Imam (ARMY/AIR FORCE Candidates Only). In addition to the general eligibility applicants must have any of the following:

He must have practiced as an Imam for four (4) years, recognized by an Islamic Religious Institution/Body.
He must be fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English.
He must be an Alim Phedeen (Islamic Theologian).
He must be recommended by a recognized Islamic body in Ghana i.e the office of the National Chief Imam, the Ghana Muslim Mission, the Muslim Representative Council, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Islamic Research and the Ahmadiya Muslim Mission.
He must have a good GCE ‘O’ Level/SSSCE/WASSCE with aggregate 24 or better in 6 subjects including English and Mathematics or GCE ‘A’ Level passes including Islamic Studies Arabic Language.
He must be a holder of 1st Degree and a Diploma in Islamic studies from a recognized Islamic Institute, Local or Foreign. A degree in Islamic Theology or Religious from a recognized University may be an advantage.
Must not be more than 40 years of age at time of enlistment.
