DESCRIPTION:
This three-year programme seeks to equip the individual/student nurse with knowledge, skills and attitudes to recognize the total health needs of individuals, families and communities to enable him/her participate effectively and efficiently in meeting those needs.
Since health is a relative state which is determined by several factors, over 25 courses are taught within six semesters including Research and Patient Care Study.
Students are also exposed to the realities of nursing clients on the wards because Nursing is essentially a practice – based activity.
 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: The school follow the entry requirement set by the Nursing and Midwives council of Ghana.
The school welcomes graduates from second cycle institutions- SSSCCE and WASSCE.

Overall Agregate	An aggregate score of thirty six (36) or etter in six subjects, comprising 3 Core and 3 elective Subject	An aggregate score of Twenty Four (24) or better in six subjects, comprising  3 core and 3 elective Core Subjects and Minimum Grades Credits (A1 – C6) in three Core Subjects i.e. English, Mathematics and Integrated Science. PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:
This Three-year program is designed to provide students with knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to enter the health care system as a practical Nurse (Enrolled Nurses). Students develop knowledge, skills and judgment in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for all age groups. Extreme focus is placed on the ability to communicate in caring and treatment manner.
