St. Monica’s College of Education | St. Gabriel Hall
MOTTO: CRUX SPES UNICA (THE CROSS IS OUR ONLY HOPE)
Saint Gabriel hall, popularly known as hall two(2) was named after archangel. The hall was established in the year1936 when the college was built. It started with few students with madam Joyce Asante Afful as the first mistress of the hall. After the tenure of Madam Joyce Asante Afful, the hall was given to Madam Helena Akuffo Konadu to take care of. She was there for four years and handed over to Madam Augustina Mensah, handed over. Currently, the hall is under the supervision of Olivia Donkor.
St. Gabriel hall currently has student population of one hundred and seventy six (176). The executives that assist the hall warden include the following:

- Afriyie Adwoah-(Hall Chaplain)
- Nti Boakyewaa Gloria-(Deputy Hall Chaplain)

- Asare Jennifer-(Hall Entertainment Organizer)
- Afriyie Winner-(Deputy entertainment Organizer)
- Achiamaa Lydia-(Hall sports Organizer)
- Kloe Edinam Bernice-(Deputy Sport prefect)
In the year 2015, the hall held the 3rd position in sport, 2nd position in fresher’s night dancing competition, 1st in Drama, face of Monico winner (Baffoe Yvonne) and 1strunner up (Adomah Yeboah) are also proud members of St. Gabriel Hall.
The hall is looking forward in tiling various rooms, provision of one fan in each room and providing of ironing boards to ease stress and to enhance the welfare of student in the hall.
