St. Louis College of Education Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We praise you, we adore you and we thank you.
We acknowledge our total dependence on you.
You have called us to be trained for a noble profession;
To carry out a holy service and work in love,
And to shape minds and hearts in truth.
Strengthen in each of us faith in you,
And in our calling to be teachers like Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Aid and inspire us to offer.as you give us.
Teach us to live byYour Spirit,
So that we may communicate Your love
To all people by our exemplary lives.
Lord of our ministry, our Great Teacher, Jesus,
Guide our learning, our teaching and character formation.
We pray this through our Lord Jesus Christ.
