Applications are invited from qualified nurses and midwives for admission into 1-Year Associate Membership and 3-Year Membership Programmes of the Ghana College of Nurses & Midwives GCNM for the 2022/2023 academic year.
PROGRAMMES ON OFFER & GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Paediatric Associate Membership Programme
Duration: 1 year Available Sites: Accra,Tamale & Kumasi
Admission Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing(minimum)
- Registered nurse with a valid Pin
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification work experience
2. Membership Programmes
Duration: 3 years Available Site: Accra
Available Specialization in Nursing/Midwifery/Mental Health
A. Paediatric B. Palliative Care C. Haematology
D. Oncology E. Emergency
Admission Requirements for Specializations A-E above:
- First Degree in Nursing
- Registered nurse with a valid Pin
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification work experience
F. Neonatal Intensive Care
Admission Requirements
- First Degree in Nursing/Midwifery
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with a valid Pin
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification work experience
G. Women’s Health
Admission Requirements
- First Degree in Nursing/Midwifery
- Registered Midwife with a valid Pin
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification work experience
H. Addictions Nursing
Admission Requirements
- First Degree in Nursing/Mental Health Nursing
- Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) with a valid Pin
- Possess a Minimum of 3 years post qualification work experience
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Application Fees & Others
- Ghanaian Applicants: GHC175.00
- International Applicants:US$120.00 (or its equivalence)

- Bank: All branches of HFC Bank
Key Steps:
- Pay application fee in applicants name at any HFC Bank branch.
- Send scanned deposit slip to admissions@gcnm.edu.gh.
- Receive online application access code/pin
- Use access code/pin to access and complete online application form at www.gcnm.edu.gh.
- Attach scanned copies of the following to the application:

- Statement of Intent:
*One page for associates membership programme applicants
*Two pages for membership programme applicants
6. TWO RECOMMENDATION LETTERS:
- -Applicants immediate Supervisor
- -Applicants head of Department.
7. Applicants must ensure that:
- The Online Application is correctly filled & receipt acknowledged on submission.
- Correct address and telephone numbers are provided.
- Keep Printed Copy of the Applicantion submitted online. This will be needed during registration if admitted.
- Check from time to time to know the status of your admission ( 4 weeks from Application Deadline).
8. Applicants who meet the Admission Requirements will be required to attend an interview. Based on successful performance, candidates will be offered admission to undergo the programme of choice.
