Chemonics International Job Vacancies 2020 for Finance and Operations Manager, Application Details

Chemonics seeks a finance and operations manager for an anticipated USAID-funded cross-border trade and resilience project in the East African Community (EAC) countries. This project will assist the Kenyan, Ugandan, Tanzanian, and Burundian governments and neighbouring nations with improving regional integration by identifying and mitigating policy constraints to agricultural trade and value chains, scaling up best practices, and strengthening the resilience and cooperation of regional networks. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master’s degree in accounting preferred
• Minimum of seven years of experience in accounting on complex development projects; experience working with projects that have grants under contracts mechanisms highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in accounting, financial management, and procurement
• Demonstrated knowledge of and extensive experience with USAID regulations and control systems
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Experience in Kenya or other EAC countries
• Proficiency in English required
