1. VISION
St. Mary’s Seminary Senior High School trains dedicated and God-fearing young men who will grow to provide quality service, worthy of emulation, in whatever capacities they find themselves, be it religious or secular leaders of tomorrow. Management also aims at providing an enlightened, balanced, student centered, education which develops holistic learners and enables them to confidently and meaningfully contribute to the enhancement of humanity worldwide.

2. MISSION
To start the training of indigenous priests who could work alongside the expatriate missionaries and eventually continue their work.

3. SCHOOL CREST AND MOTTO
The motto of the school is ‘Domine Adsum’ meaning ‘Lord Here I am’.

4. BRIEF HISTORY OF SCHOOL
St. Mary’s Seminary Senior High School is for boys only. It was started by the Catholic Missionaries in September 1961 as a Community School under the auspices of Most Rev. Anthony Konings of blessed memory, the then Bishop of Keta, as the Minor Seminary for the Diocese of Keta. It later became a government assisted Secondary School in 1973.
The school started with only 26 students and 4 members of staff. The staff members were: Rev. Fr. William Van Frankenhuijesen, Rev. Fr. Theodore Velboer, Rev. Fr. Nico Steemers and Rev. Fr. John Bakus, all Dutch missionaries.
Rev. Fr. Edward Siffah is the present Headmaster of the school.
Location of School
St. Mary’s Seminary Senior High School is located in the Hohoe Municipality between Lolobi-Ashiambi and Lolobi-Kumasi, twin towns that are about 8kilometers north of Hohoe along Hohoe Ayoma road in Volta Region.
Its rural setting coupled with the vegetation of greenery makes the campus serene and attractive. The imposing architectural designs of the chapel, the administration block, the dinning hall, the classroom and dormitories, memorials of the late Borther Xavier Van Dungan of blessed memory add colour and beauty to the scenery.
