For our Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra Ghana, we invite applications for the position of Director of Finance.
Key responsibilities
- To maintain control over income, expenses and assets of the Hotel in compliance with the Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts policies and procedures as well as local requirements.
- To develop and administer a sound plan of organization and procedure for efficient operation of the hotel’s Finance Department that will assist the General Manager in maximizing profits for the hotel (while keeping at the same time the Mövenpick quality standards).
- Assisting the management in implementing and supervising the Operational Standards as well as the hotel’s internal rules and regulations.
- Compilation of and adherence to financial budgets of all departments together with GM.
- Compilation of and adherence to financial budgets of commercial center and owning company together with owner representatives
- Compilation of and adherence to financial budgets of AH Homeowners association with GM and Real Estate Manager
Key requirements
- Excellent Accounting knowledge
- Analysis of income and expense by close supervision and execution of internal controls.
- Accountable and resilient
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexible to respond to a variety of different work situations
- Previous experience as a Director of Finance or Financial Controller Previous experience in Middle East and Africa, particularly West Africa, would be an added advantage.
