Duties and Responsibilities
• Work side by side with other developers in producing innovative applications that support the optimization of customer needs.
• Translate business requirements into elegant designs to engineer through to a finished product for release
• Maintain usable development and test environments with appropriate tools to deliver applications in a reliable and efficient process. Researching industry standards for advanced technology to leverage in design and development
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in related field with a proven software development experience in PHP
• Expert development skills in LAMP stack with Object Oriented PHP. Experience with JavaScipt, and other JS libraries, version control systems
• Experience with PHP frameworks etc. Expertise debugging, tuning and optimizing web applications, the understanding of SQL queries and RDMS models & tools
• Experience utilizing and maximizing performance around NoSQL databases. Experience developing web services and API
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc. Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc) Passion for best design adn coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
