Akoko Nan (Akokɔ Nan) Symbol, Meaning and Significance

This Adinkra symbol is from the proverb “Akoko nan tia ba na enkum ba,” literally, “The leg of a hen steps on the child (chick) but it doesn’t kill the child (chick).”
