T I Ahmadiyya Senior High School was born on 15th October 2001 It was the fruit of the initiative and efforts of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat in Wa in particular and Ghana at largeThe Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission-Wa had for a long time dreamt of starting a new secondary school in Upper West Region to augment government effort at providing secondary for the highly deprived Northern Regions of Ghana. The dream finally came to fruition in October 2001 The school started with an initial intake of seventy-one (71) students, forty (40) boys and thirty-one (31) girls It started on the borrowed premises of the then Home Science block of the Wa Municipality, but we have since moved to our permanent site near Charia Our vision is to promote academic and moral excellence in the youth who will take up positions of responsibility in Ghana. Our mission is to provide a conducive environment for quality teaching and learning aimed at raising academically sound and morally upright students
