A gona Senior High/Technical School is a community boarding and day school The school is situated on the Government Hospital road at Agona in the Ashanti Region of the Republic of Ghana It shares borders with the Government Hospital and the National Health Insurance Scheme Green/White is the colours of the school It has big compound with the premises tiled with pavement blocks We offer seven different courses thus, Gen Arts, Visual Arts, Business, Home Economics, Technical, Gen Science, Agriculture The school has a student population of about 1646 and over 150 both teaching and non-teaching staffs The school has many storey buildings for classrooms and dormitories in green/yellow paint The environment is said to be ever green .To produce students equipped with the highest academic and moral standards who will be capable of contributing towards National Development. The school has been established to provide Technical and Vocational training to the youth of the communities near and beyond They will be equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills that will enable them gain employment and/ or self-employment thereby becoming self-supportive.
